We had a pre wedding dining in the courtyard last night. Most of the guest are from France so they felt very at home. They stayed up into the early hour, enjoying so fine red wine.
It was a record day, with tempertures reaching 31 Degrees for the first time this year. We had some guests dining on the lawn, and loving the heat, and fresh air.
Our daughter, finished cookery school at the Grange and we popped down to pick her up. They had prepared a feast for us which was fantastic. She now going to help Vicci in the kitchen, this summer.

We have finally been able to plant the lettuces outside. Unfortunately the birds are rather keen on our young green leaves, so...
We have had to put up a Scarecrow. He is called Bert. So far he is doing a good job!
With the dry weather, we have pulled out all the bulbs and dried them in the sun. They will be then stored in a dark dry place till we replant them later on in the year.

Today was moving pigs. This can either go really well or really badly!
We started with the Gloucester Old Spots. They were so pleased to be out. They wanted to have a good look around.
Glyn got very possessive about his potatos. Pigs love potatos.
They said hello to all the other animals on the farm.
We eventually got them into the holding pen.
The other two Large Welsh Whites, just followed Glyn all the way to their new home. He is now a natural pig handler!
