28th April 2012

Great excitement at Sutton Mawr. Last night Nerys and her family and friends arrived for a pre wedding supper. Everybody was on flying form.

This morning, it all kicked off  at 7 o'clock, getting everbody ready for the big day, except Dylan and Daniel who came and helped us collect the eggs. Dylan got rather friendly with the new born lamb..

Then 11.15 they were already to leave. Nerys looked amazing...

and so did the flower girls.. Fingers crossed the weather holds and they have a fanastic day.

24th April 21012

We decided it was such a lovely evening we would take the dogs for a last walk on Barry Island before the summer dog ban.

We lost Rosie for over half an hour, she had taken a fancy to 5 bichon frise dogs, Vicci eventually found her back by the car.  We then set off again, this time we were walking round the headland when we hear a faint voice saying "help me help". We rushed over to the cliff edge, to see a lady in the water, being knocked around by the waves. Vicci called for help and I climbed down as quickly as possible to pull her out..

By the time I had managed to pulled her completely out of the water, and wondering how I was going to carry her up the cliffs, the helicoper arrived followed by 10 policeman.  It all happpens on Barry Island. the lady was rushed off to hospital and hope she is ok.

at the same time as the last of our ewes gave birth to two lambs..

Vicci arranged for 20 of us to visit Sir Roy Strong's Lasketts garden in Herefordshire.

It was an amazing garden, which only covers some 4 acres, but has been divided into 21 distinct area which you travel through.

At every turn you find yourself entering a different space, which has been cleverly interwoven between formal. and

informal.

The are monuments, urns and water features.  Lovely

We have been away for a few day to celebrate Vicci's mum birthday. We all gathered at their farm in Gloucester, and arrange a tractor ride down to the woods.

Where we set up camp, and even built a den.

We took our new Paella pan and burner, and cooked a fabulous traditional Paella. It was a great day out, the kids loved it.
