Park vets came round today, to scan the cows, to check if they are pregnant.

It looks like Samson the bull  had a very successful stay!

Morgan the vet came with her student assistant Catherine.

The dexters were not too badly behaved, except Rudolf who was a nightmare!

We had Susan and David Kirkwood staying from Belfast, they brought Denzel on holiday. He loved the farm tour. They are driving all the way back today, so wishing them a good trip, as its a long way.

11th July 2012

We picked all the summer fruit, red currents, raspberries and strawberries

Then Vicci cooked them together, to make a delicious fruit compote. It is sharp, but I added some honey and greek yogurt.

7th July 2012

I know we love moaning about the weather, but I really do think we have had our fair share of rain.

We have a lovely group of people staying at Sutton Mawr today. Russ  is getting married today in St Donats Castle.

It was so wet that Pootle had to come to the rescue and drive guests down to the bottom of the drive, where a bus was waiting.

They were all in great spirits, and would not let a small thing, like a severe weather warning get in the way their celebrations!

We decided to dust off our indian marque.

Gareth and the boys arrived first thing this morning to help erect it, before the rain came.

It the quickest and the best erection we have ever done!

The Giess family were staying at the farm. They loved the animals. They did a early egg collection this morning, and they even found some fresh strawberries to pick.

Mr and Mrs Howard spend their first night as a married couple, here last night. They had a lovely wedding at Dyffryn Springs.

Hans and his wife stayed for over a week at the farm. They played on most of the link golf course in the area. Pennard, Southerndown,Cottrell,Glamorgan,Wenvoe and Royal Porhcawl. They found Porthcawl the most challenging. They loved Wales
