We have had another international family to stay. This time it is from Thailand, Bangkok. 

They braved the horrid Welsh weather and did a farm tour, collected the eggs, held a lamb and feed the pigs.. They are now off to the Lake District via Stratford. They are doing a 14 day tour of European.

Happy Easter from all at Sutton Mawr..

The Carpenter and Hunter Family had a massive Easter egg hunt. They even found some real eggs.!

The hen and her two chicks are doing really well.

7th April 2012

We had Buzz light year to stay this weekend. He went on a farm tour with his mum and sister. He got use to the chickens, got close to the lambs, but avoided the pigs.

Then I discovered two chicks with their mum. I had to pick them up and move them to a coup. So they will be safe.

Friday 6th April 2012

Leonie has come to stay in the cottage for the night and has brought Tiggy with her, who is one of Rosie's puppies. She is lovely, a bit smaller than the other puppies, with more Chihuahua features.Very pretty.

Leonie has popped down to the Fox and Hounds in Llancarfan and we have got Tiggy. She is a real character, racing around the place..

6th April 2012

On Monday, Vicci asked me to pop down to Barry Town railway station to pick up Fidelis and his 8o year old wife Mary. Fidelis was treating his wife to a trip to Barry, as she was born here and loved it so much. They were going to be staying with us for 4 days.

I waited for the train to arrive and was somewhat surprised to meet Fidelis and 5 others! They had only booked one room.

From left to right....Fidelis and his 2 year old son Keke, in front Clinton (president) 5 year old son. Mary 80 year old first wife. Then Oluji who is Fidelis second wife. Then Emcka who is Mary's and Fidelis only son.

They were great fun and kept us very amused!

Sally Anne Finn has returned to Gyspy Rose, with her daughter Scarlet..

Scarlet loved holding the lambs. They are very cuddly at the moment.

Anna investigated the Pig house, and was amazed how clean it was.

These pigs are very friendly and a bit on the inquisitive side...

April's fools here. Adele played a trick on her partner Matt. He thought they were staying in a five star hotel, but discovered they were glamping! Adele had booked the romantic railway carriage.

They had a lovely night..

The sun shining, it is a beautiful day at Sutton Mawr. We have Cole and James staying for a few days. They are champion egg collectors, yesterday they collected the eggs three times.

Today Cole held a chicken for the first time.. Natural

Tommy was collecting eggs for the first time. Didn't he do well!
