Just had a lovely group for supper, a bit cold but we warmed up around the fire.

What a beautiful day to get married. Simon and Rhian tied the knot today and had their wedding party at Sutton Mawr. The courtyard looked lovely with lots of candles and the fire blazing away.  They danced into the early hours under the stars.

19TH April 2013

Tonight, we had a great group of vistors to Sutton Mawr. I did my largest farm tour ever and then settle down in the barn for a scrumptous supper of Dexter Pie from the farm, followed by Apple Crumble served with our famous Cadwaladers Ice Cream.

We then gathered around the courtyard fire.  Some of these guests are going travelling round Europe for the next 5 weeks, so good luck to them and safe journey.

The daffodiles and tulips have finally decided to make an appearance too (only a month late)!

A big congratulations to Ben and Naomi, our lovely couple who celebrated their nuptials here at Sutton Mawr farm on Saturday.

The reception was held in our cosy village hall which was beautifully decorated in white drapes and flowers. The food was all homemade by our hard working staff and went down a treat with their guests.

Despite the weather a fantastic time was had by all! We wish Naomi and Ben all the best for the future and want to thank them for choosing us to share their big day.

We had a visit from some lovely international travellers that  came for a farewell dinner to  Sutton Mawr.

They guests are doing a tour of the British Isles and Ireland.

A new arrival at Suttonmawr. Moorhen the dexter gave birth to a beautiful bull calf, we have called him, Allan Micheal.
